Volunteer

The City of Fountain is a great place to live, largely thanks to the residents who live here, that are active and involved in their community. Part of an engaged city is a community that selflessly gives back, making the world a better place. Using their time, talents, treasures, hearts and hands to help others, these people are the backbone of the community. They are VOLUNTEERS.

The Volunteer Program in the City of Fountain is creatively designed to engage people and their unique talents. When talent and passion work together, the outcome is fantastic. With that aim, the city promotes volunteer involvement to improve services and create community.

Volunteer Opportunities with Parks Department

- Adopt a Park
- Adopt a Trail
- Adopt a Roadway
- Event set up/cleanup during and after the event
- Gardening: planting and maintenance city wide
- Litter cleanup on the shoulders of streets/ neighborhoods

Recreation Department

- Coaches for youth programs
- Scorekeepers, clock operators for all ages
- Assist with uniform/ equipment checkout
- Assist with field maintenance
